Our school is participating in the Reading is an Investment Program sponsored by the State of Vermont. We are reading books about earning and saving money while learning about personal finance. If you have any questions about this program, please contact me in the library (ext. 22). Forms are due March 16, 2012.
The MCS library recently received a grant from the Tari Shattuck Education Foundation. This grant enabled us to purchase new books for the library. We bought 6 Star Wars picture books, 3 dragon books, and 5 fiction chapter books that were recommended by staff and students. All 14 books have been checked out regularly since we received them. Thank you to TSEF for the generous grant!
